Staff Meet the team

Brad Staton



Originally from Augusta, Georgia, Brad earned a BBA degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia and a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. After having served churches in various capacities in Savannah and Augusta, he went on to lay the groundwork for a new church plant in Florida.

Brad began his ministry at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando in 2009 in the areas of pastoral care and 20’s-30’s ministry. In 2011, he was appointed Executive Director of the Heart of the City Foundation, responsible for overseeing its donor-based grants and fund programs. Additionally, Brad is an ordained minister in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

Brad and his wife Lindsey have three children: Beau, Sydney and Caroline.



Erin Baker 

Erin supports the foundation’s many events and programs including the Lecture Series and scholarship program. Before coming to Heart of the City, Erin worked in corporate communications at several Central Florida advertising agencies and later served in the marketing department for a national homebuilder situated in the Orlando area. Erin graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations and a minor in marketing.

Erin and her husband have been members at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando since 2003. During her membership, Erin has served on the Weekday School executive board, as a leader in the Women’s Engaged ministry, volunteer for the flower ministry, and as a deacon.
